Philosophy
Put as simply as possible, my design philosophy is to provide a high-quality, standards-compliant website that efficiently communicates its purpose to the viewer.
I see art everywhere, and making a website that is visually pleasing is a passionate goal of mine. However, making that website accessible, easy to navigate and quick to download are just as important to me. I build sites with cross-browser, multiple OS compatibility in mind, so that the maximum audience can be reached.
Above all else, the most important goal is to create a website that meets with the expectations, needs and desires of my client. I want to work with you to create the website you've been dreaming of!
Pricing
I try to keep my pricing simple and flexible. After an initial consultation, preferably in person, I will create a price package that best fits your project. I will always find the most efficient and economical solution to your needs.
In most cases, I charge by the hour. If I feel the project would be better served by a flat fee or package price, I will create a proposal to that effect, for your approval. Maintenance requests are billed on an hourly basis. If you require long-term, regular maintenance, discount packages are available, and requests are considered on a case-to-case basis.
A note about evening, weekend and rush projects:
Although I generally keep to standard business hours, Monday through Friday, I am willing to work odd hours to satisfy a time-sensitive request. Depending on the nature of the work, how much advance notice is given, and when I am to be working, you may be charged "time-and-a-half" hourly rates (ie, 1.5 times my normal rate.)
